“I want a monster movie, I've wanted one for so long. I was in Japan with my son and all he wanted to do is go to toy stores. And we saw all these Godzilla toys, and I thought, we need our own monster, and not King Kong, King Kong's adorable. I wanted something that was just insane and intense. It's almost done shooting and I watch dailies and I'm more excited for them than the trailer, which has had an overwhelming response. We have 6 months before this comes out. We're going to have a whole bunch of things, a whole bunch more." He said a full trailer, more clips, full posters, and much more will be coming out over the next 6 months, including the name, which he will NOT reveal today.

Wow. A shocker. Abrams likes to keep a tight lid on his projects and we have a feeling the poster and title leak this week were good clues that the power of this movie is strong. However, he really backed out of the naming of the title of the movie.
People quickly gave their opinions on the poster and title when it was arrived this week. Most did not like the title and the reaction on the poster seems to be rather positive. Was Abrams scared off of announcing the title by fan reaction?
When the poster surfaced this morning without the title we knew something was going on. Was that a fake title or did the producers take it off? Interesting. The only official word is that the poster is REAL. That's something, ...
Doesn't it seem like something had moved from the Statue of Liberty and into New York City through the water? You can see the path it left in the water. Like a big boat.
ReplyDeleteWell, id like to put in my two cents. For one, Fiffi is right. There is a trail in the water that seems like soemthing has JUST disturbed the water recently. Second of all. I see that there is still flying debris sustained in mid air stemming from the top of the Statue Of Liberty indicitive that something has JUST blown out from the top of it. If I had to guess, something from underneath lower manhattan came out from under the ground and THEN made its way throught or above the water to the Statue Of Liberty. Remember, in the trailer the explosion happends first, THEN after they are downstairs in the street do you see the head rolling. CLUE!!!
ReplyDeleteHas no one seen the little Chucky-face in peeking out from behind a building? Look immediately up-right from the white light in the city.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, there's clearly a giant face there. Second, on closer inspection, that white light appears to have too definite a shape to just be some explosion. Plus there's a definite boundary between the white light and the face.
Why has no on seen this?
