Cloverfield 2 Pictures Surface?

5/4/08 | Labels: , , , , | 1 comments |

cloverfield 2
There's some news on the web at what looks like new viral additions to the Cloverfield world. MovieWeb and Cloverfield Clues are two sites that are wondering if new images from a viral site are really from the Cloverfield realm or just elaborate hoaxes. Who knows, but that's the fun in all this.

MovieWeb doesn't look to source where they found their material but a look on the Cloverfield Clues shows that fans at unfiction have again found some new clues. It looks to center around the usgx8810b467233px website which some unfictioners have decoded. Once you pop in the passwords you'll get a look at this.

While some see this as clues to a sequel to Cloverfield it should be noted that there is rumored new viral material arriving with the Blu-ray version of the movie in June (which is why all the fuss for its delay).

Chuai Station News Videos - Translation of the German Video

1/7/08 | Labels: , , , | 0 comments |

What's Cloverfield? is a German site so I figuered he'd have a great translation of the German Chuai video. Sure enough he did. He also clears up the network making the broadcast. (source)

Newscaster: Only three days ago theres an oil rig sunk approximately 1300 km off the coast of New York. Recently we've gotten dramatic pictures of the event by international news agencies.

(video of sinking oil rig)

Newscaster: The videos show the inexplicably sinking (of the rig) – even experts are bluffed by this. At the time of the event there were 355 worker on board. The plattform was opened in September 2007 - and is (was) one of the largest world wide. They is (was) run by the japanese company Tagruato – there HQ is in Tokyo. The drilling-system (of the rig) was developed by Zwichau Engineering in Leipzig under the leadership of Dipl. Ing. Dominik Möltgen. We asked him if the destruction (of the rig) could has been caused by a misplanning.

Dominik Möltgen: ... i can not see a structural reasons ... theres no evidence that the base structure or the security systemes caused the disaster. Thats simply impossible ... it's physical not possible.

(video that show the disaster from inside the rig + survivors in a boat)

Newscaster: The videos are of very poor quality but something like gunfire can be heard from the platform. Tagruato was in the past repeatedly accused of employing a large private army. Experts are currently investigating the hasty escape of the workers – and if it was caused by a para-military attack.

Newscaster: According to recent reports on the incident people were killed - spokesman of Tagruato deny this. It is not certain whether Germans was on board of the oil rig.

Okay guys, i hope this helps. Futhermore: Theres no TV Network called NCC in germany. Even Zwichau Engineering doesn't exists – i think it's a misspelling of Zwickau, the name of a german city.

Part Of Cloverfield Monster Seen In Chuai Videos?

| Labels: , , , , , , | 1 comments |

The topic of the moment is whether you can see the arms or tentacles of the Cloverfield Monster grabbing the Chuai Station's legs as it is being destroyed. This image from the IMDB forums highlights the area in question. Watch the video at the bottom of the post and see if you don't see the arm in question.

Also, a couple more Chuai Station destruction videos have popped up. One is Japanese with Korean subtitles (the uploader declares) and the other looks to be Japanese. The show most of the same footage along with an Oil Tanker. I'm wondering if that's going to be the same oil tanker destroyed in New York Harbor on 1-18-08?

English Chuai Station Video

Environmentalists in Connecticut are worried about the destruction of the Chuai drilling station leaked oil that will contaminate their shores. The English version of the Chuai Station destruction is online finally.

The incident is being coined an environmental disaster as a large deep sea oil rig collapsed in the Atlantic Ocean days ago. With over 300 Tagruato workers at the rig many are still missing and there has been little information as to what caused such a devastating accident.
